John Legend & The Roots feat. Black Thought – Hard Times

Tuesday, September 7th, 2010

This is more like it.1 John Legend and The Legendary Roots Crew remake Baby Huey’s song that has spawned so many notable hip hop samples, with Black Thought spitting on this one. There’s a video for an in-studio performance of this song too. Wake Up! drops Sept. 21st.

The second single off John Legend & The Roots’ Wake Up! I know what you’re thinking, if this was really the second single, where’s the custom-made artwork to go along with it or the big name website to premiere something from these two high-profile acts… *shrug* I don’t ask too many questions.
