J. Cole – Song For The Ville + I’m Comin’

Saturday, June 13th, 2009

These two songs are from last year but you may have not heard them:

Here are a couple records from my homie J. Cole that I noticed are missing from The Warm Up tracklist. They were on an early version of the tape that I had. He is incredibly talented! Look out for Dice Music TV in the studio with J. Cole and J. Cardim coming soon as well as my interview with him on Allhiphop.com.

J. Cole talks Jay-Z, Roc Nation & The Warm Up.

So I got to chop it up Fayettville, North Carolina native and NYC transplant, J. Cole. Jay-Z recently signed J. Cole himself to Roc Nation which is obviously a huge co-sign. I think the initial response by the hip-hop community was, who is J. Cole? A question I was sure to ask him. Personally I see a lot of potential in J’s abilities. It’s no gimmicks, and he just comes with intelligent lyrics that are very relatable. He has a mixtape dropping next Monday called, The Warm Up, in which he produced the majority of. I’m officially instructing you to take notice of the kid, because I see him doing big things in the near future. Also be sure to check out two tracks by him below.

Video: J. Cole – The Warm Up Studio Session

Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009

J. Cole promises that The Warm Up will be here in two weeks:

The bad news is The Warm Up will not be dropping today (Don’t shoot!).. I know, I know. But this is the final push back. There were some loose ends that still need to be tied, but the FINAL official date for this mixtape is June 15th. With the couple new joints I added last week I can confidently say it’s worth a 2 week wait.

Here’s something to hold you down though:
