Suge’s Attorney Says Floyd Mayweather is Posting Bail

Thursday, April 30th, 2015

Suge Knight’s attorney today shared his client’s bail strategy with reporters working the ongoing murder case:

“My understanding is that Suge’s going to be bailed out this coming week. We think Mr. Mayweather is going to win the championship and then come champion the day again. They’re good friends and there’s no reason he shouldn’t and we believe that will happen.”

I hear that.

UPDATED: Members of Floyd’s Money Team denied that the champ would be posting Suge’s bail.

Here’s the Full Video of Suge Knight’s Hit & Run

Monday, March 9th, 2015

TMZ got their hands on the full surveillance footage of Suge Knight running over Cle “Bone” Sloan and Terry Carter (who later died from his injuries) during the infamous Compton hit and run that he is now imprisoned for. Obviously this is pretty graphic, so be warned before you watch. Somebody in Suge’s camp had floated the idea that this footage would ultimately clear him of any wrongdoing, and it certainly shows that Bone approached his vehicle in a menacing manner, but it also seems like the whole thing could have been avoided. I supposed that’s up to a jury to decide now though.

J. Prince – Couresy Call (Diddy, Birdman Diss)

Thursday, February 12th, 2015

In a bizarre turn of events, Rap-A-Lot founder, Houston OG and all around man-not-to-be-trifled-with J. Prince has released a track that takes shots at Diddy, Birdman, Lil Wayne and Suge Knight. Prince goes in on Puff for the scuffle he got into with Drake in Miami last year, and rides on Suge for an offhand comment he made about Drizzy to a TMZ cameraman back in December. Birdman and Wayne catch heat too because, well, there’s never been any love lost between them and Prince.

Listen to “Courtesy Call” below.

Suge Knight Pleads Not Guilty, Rushed to Hospital

Tuesday, February 3rd, 2015

Suge Knight was in court earlier today to enter a not guilty plea to charges of murder and attempted murder in the fatal hit & run incident that occurred in Compton last week. TMZ is now reporting that Suge was rushed to the hospital shortly thereafter for what is believed to be a panic attack. Suge is also presumably still feeling it from the 6 bullets he took last Summer, so that could be a factor in his hospitalization as well. Either way, he certainly has plenty of reason to panic as he could be facing life in prison if convicted of these charges as a convicted felon under California’s “three strikes” laws, plus his bail has been pulled.

UPDATED: According to a newly surfaced video tape of the incident, law enforcement now believes that somebody pulled a gun on Suge during the confrontation. From TMZ:

Suge Knight now has a video of the entire parking lot altercation that resulted in a man’s death — and law enforcement tells us it shows someone holding a gun and pointing it ominously at Suge, and that person is Cle “Bone” Sloan.

Sources connected with Suge believe the video clearly shows the fight leading up to the fatal hit and run was an ambush. We’re told you see a gun in Bone’s hand … and it looks like another person is also there holding a gun.

UPDATED: Now TMZ says prosecutors don’t believe the video proves a gun was pulled on Suge and they will actually be using the footage to build their case against Knight.

Suge Knight Arrested, Charged with Murder

Friday, January 30th, 2015

Following the fatal hit and run incident that he was involved in yesterday in Compton, Suge Knight surrendered to police early this morning and was charged with murder. He is being held on $2 million bail. TMZ has more details about the incident and why Suge was charged with murder even though they don’t think he intended to kill Terry Carter, who was actually travelling with Suge in his vehicle prior to the altercation. UPDATED: Suge was officially charged on Monday.

UPDATED: According to sources close to Suge, he was in Compton looking to squash his long-running beef with Dr. Dre when things got out of control:

Shortly before the collision, Suge had gone to another location where the commercial for “Straight Outta Compton” was being shot and got into a physical push and shove with Dr. Dre’s security. Some off-duty officers saw the altercation and ordered Suge to leave.

Our Suge sources say a short time later Terry Carter called Suge and said he had contacted Dre and was told to bring Suge by the next location where they could work out their problems. Suge says he took Carter up on the offer, believing it would be a peaceful meeting, but when he arrived he got jumped before he even got out of his truck.
