PIC: Rick Ross, Swizz Beatz & Reebok Executive

Wednesday, May 1st, 2013

Here’s a pic of Ross, Swizz and Reebok Chief Marketing Officer Matt O’Toole that Swizz posted to Instagram earlier. As you know Reebok terminated its endorsement contract with Ross last month after the controversy over his “UEONO (Remix)” lyrics came to a head. I can’t imagine that Reebok would be willing to bring Ross back in, especially since one of this most prominent artists is now running around telling people how he really feels about the brand, but stranger things have happened.

Perhaps coincidentally, Footwearnews posted a quote about Ross from Reebok CEO Uli Becker earlier today:

Video: Action Bronson & Party Supplies Present Blue Chips (Live @ Reebok’s #weRnyc)

Wednesday, February 29th, 2012

Says Bronson:

Blue Chips is a project that allows me to give something back to all the people who have been supporting me during the last year. Party Supplies and myself linked up in the late fall and over the span of a few weeks created this project entirely off the cuff. We didn’t over think it, we just had fun making music with no pressures of making a “hit song”, clearing of samples or sales expectations. Thanks to the good people over at Reebok and our friends at Complex we are able to give it away to our fans for the nice price of Free.99. We look at this as a thank you of sorts to all the people who rock with us.

Blue Chips drops March 12th.

Swizz is finally pedaling something regular people can cop. Not only that, but there’s also a contest to name the shoe and win a pair plus $1,500 cash on his site. Which means, you’ll be able to afford these and a pair of these.

Video: Fabolous Interview w/ iHipHop

Wednesday, August 26th, 2009

Loso has two new mixtapes dropping: one with DJ Drama, one with Clue:

iHipHop had the opportunity to catch up with Fabolous at the neighborhood Foot Locker where he was promoting his new collaboration with Reebok. In a day an age where album sales cannot be depended on, Fab is diversifying his revenue streams, even while getting his “grown man” on with his recently released album “Loso’s Way”. Fabolous also decided to reveal for the first time that he will be releasing a double disc mixtape in the near future. The first disc is going to be done by DJ Drama and titled There Is “No Competition Pt. 2” and the second disc will be called “That Fabolous Bastard” and will be put together by longtime cohort DJ Clue. I know there are a lot of people anticipating these mixtapes more so then his album. Sorry about the sound quality.
