Kanye, KiD CuDI, Mike Dean & Plain Pat in the Studio (PIC)

Monday, February 29th, 2016

Last week, Kanye made headlines with a couple of tweets that suggested his next album will be arriving far sooner than anybody may have guessed. First he announced that he was planning on dropping a new album this coming Summer. Then, a couple of days later, he revealed that the title to this new project would be Turbo Grafx 16, which if you’re too young to remember, was a gaming system released in the late 80’s.

While I wouldn’t put it past Ye to drop another album before the year is out, it’s my opinion that the chances of it actually keeping that title and arriving by this Summer are slim to none. In any event, Ye is already back in the studio with some of his most valued collaborators and advisors, as his right hand man Ibn jasper tweeted out the above picture of a studio session with KiD CuDi, Plain Pat and Mike Dean last night with the caption “TURBO GRAFX 16 day 1.”

PICS: G.O.O.D. Music in Hawaii for NYE

Monday, January 4th, 2010

Really Doe, Ibn Jasper, GLC, Amber Rose & Kanye West

GLC uploaded some pics of the G.O.O.D. Music family in Hawaii for New Years Eve. While John Legend & KiD CuDi (and Plain Pat) rocked South Beach’s W Hotel in Miami, the rest of the G.O.O.D. Music roster held it down in Hawaii where they’re known to do a lot of recording. Drake had mentioned he was going to fly out there to work on Thank Me Later with Ye and Kanye even said he’s back in the studio.

Don C, No ID, Mr Hudson and Consequence were there too:

Video: KiD CuDi Brings out Drake in Toronto

Sunday, November 29th, 2009

Last night, Drake came out to do “Forever” at the Kool Haus where Kid Cudi was doing a third show aside from opening for Lady Gaga that night and the inevitable after partying that ensued.

“Only person I’m cool with in this business, everyone else sucks” – Cudi

Related: Pictures of Kid Cudi from a month earlier at Drake’s Birthday

True story: when they played Forever the night before, Cudi and Pat were both jamming out to that shit. Good sight to see.

Hit the jump to see him get into some shit from his new album.

Video: KiD CuDi Joins Lady Gaga for “Pokerface”

Saturday, November 28th, 2009

This is from last night’s show in the town I call home.

It was the first stop on the Lady Gaga tour and Kid Cudi came out to perform with her since he didn’t get to do his set last night. Apparently the stage wasn’t set up properly, but they said it should be taken care of for the other cities.

I had the pleasure of meeting Kid Cudi and his manager Plain Pat #inthesestreets last night, check out some pics of these two raging:

Shout out to Joe La Puma for sending the video through.

Video: KiD CuDi Isn’t Retiring

Friday, March 20th, 2009

Skee.TV gives you exclusive access at the South By Southwest music festival with Kid Cudi as he narrowly makes his show and announces he isn’t retiring after all (in response to his own blog entry saying he was quitting hiphop). With an electric energy in the crowd after the owner was stated Cudi was a no show, Cudi runs on stage after missing his earlier flight and performs some of his favorite material, freestyles for the crowd, and mistakes Austin for Houston.

Doesn’t that make you liable to die down there. *grips grain*
