Kanye, Rihanna & Paul McCartney To Perform at The Grammys

Tuesday, February 3rd, 2015

kanyegrammys

So I guess I have no choice but to watch the Shammys this year huh. This morning it was announced that Rihanna, Kanye and Paul McCartney would take the stage during the broadcast to perform their new song, “FourFiveSeconds”. Which isn’t terribly surprising. Put two of the biggest stars on the planet on a track with a fucking Beatle and that’s Grammy fodder if ever there was any. But Revolt is also reporting that Kanye is expected to perform not just once, but twice during the ceremony, which has lead to speculation that he will be performing a new, previously unheard track.

From Revolt:

There are no details surrounding this new song, but for what it’s worth, Def Jam did hint last month that Kanye’s previously released “Only One” was “the first publicly available recording from what has become a prolific musical collaboration between these two legendary artists.” Seeing as how Sir Paul will be in attendance Sunday night, the possibility of the pair debuting a new collaboration from this said collection isn’t far off.

Rihanna released the official video for “FourFiveSeconds” featuring Ye and Sir Paul this morning, check it out here.

Report: Kanye & Paul McCartney Recording Together

Monday, August 18th, 2014

kanye-maccartney

This is coming from the Post’s Page Six, so obviously it is to be taken as a completely unconfirmed rumor, but the word around town is that Kanye West and the legendary Paul McCartney have been collaborating on some music together. According to the Post’s report, the pair have worked on a couple of different tracks, including one called “Piss On My Grave”. As far fetched as it sounds, McCartney has praised Kanye and Jay-Z in the past, saying that if he was to ever collaborate with a rapper, it would probably be one of those two. He also reportedly has Yeezus and Magna Carta Holy Grail on his iPod, and Kanye was said to have been in attendance at the former Beatle’s recent show at Dodger’s Stadium as well, so who knows, it could happen.
