Video: Donnis x Needlz

Tuesday, August 11th, 2009

From 10.Deep:

This will be a big week for us. Last week we dropped news of our upcoming collaboration with Donnis, and a video with commentary on the project from the super production team, Justice LEAGUE. This week, we bring you yet another clip with yet another known production talent for the Donnis mixtape project, and late this week the rollout of our Fall 2009 line begins. But for now lets focus on Donnis. Where and how Donnis has linked with this caliber of producers he has is a mystery to us, but we take it as indicative of talent of the young Atlanta upstart.

This week’s video features Needlz, who with songs like 50 cent’s “Piggy Bank” and Lupe Fiasco’s “Hurt Me Soul” in his repertoire, is a force unto himself. He chimes in with his thoughts on Donnis while providing the sonic backdrop for “Gone”, a track the two worked on together for the upcoming Diary of an Atlanta Brave Mixtape project (which you can hear in the background of the visual. Its a banger.)

Enjoy another look into the making of Donnis: Diary Of An Atlanta Brave. We’ll have an audio treat for you later this week, both should tide you over until the mixtape drops August 20th on 10Deep.com
