Video: Milano Constantine – The Way We Were

Monday, March 6th, 2017

Milano Constantine drops a new visual for the DJ Skizz-produced title track off his new project, The Way We Were. The song, a deft display of Milano’s ability to paint a picture with bars, is an ode to a simpler time and the forefathers (and mothers) who laid the foundation. Stream the new project, produced entirely by Skizz and Marco Polo, here.

Editorial: 10 Loosies You May Have Slept On In 2016 (So Far)

Tuesday, June 14th, 2016

Words by Daniel Isenberg (@StanIpcus)

Another day, another rap song is released. It’s overwhelming, isn’t it? It takes time and effort to weed through the wack shit and find the fire in the midst of so many daily drops. But it’s a process that the true heads love and take pride in. Discovering a sick new song is invigorating, right?

Being that the first half of this year has been absolutely flooded with new music, I spent some time digging through my music archives to pick out ten loosies that should not be slept on in the midst of the meyhem. These are the non-album cuts that made a real impact on me when I first heard them, and are still in my heavy rotation leading into the summer. Listen below.

Editorial: 10 Loosies You May Have Slept On In 2015 (So Far)

Thursday, June 18th, 2015

Words by Daniel Isenberg (@StanIpcus)

It’s only June, and it’s safe to say this year has already bodied ‘14 musically. There’s dope shit out across the board album-wise, and in addition, there’s been a decent dose of non-LP freshness floating around, too. So as we say hello to summer, here’s 10 Loosies You May Have Slept On In 2015 (So Far). It’s our way of recapping a few favorites (songs not freestyles) that weren’t featured on an album or released as an official single during the first half of the year—just in case you missed or forgot about any of them. Enjoy the catch-up.

Milano Constantine – Cocaina (Prod. by DJ Skizz)

Tuesday, April 28th, 2015

This is too tough. And it sounds like there’s a full Milano project on the way executive produced by DJ Skizz and Marco Polo, so expect more of the same soon.

Also, if you fucks with Milano’s bars like we do, make sure you cop his album The Believers if you don’t already have it, out now on iTunes. Lotta heat on there (“Awful.” is a personal favorite).
