Method Man & Black Thought – Sway in The Morning Freestyle

Thursday, October 5th, 2017

So Black Thought and Meth sit down with Sway for an interview and he puts them on the spot for some bars. If you think for a second that either of these guys was caught off guard you’ve got another thing coming to you, because they rolled up their sleeves and demolished those mics. Wu-Tang Clan – SAVOR-WAVS (Remix)

Wednesday, July 19th, 2017

Cilantro Rules Everything Around Me. The RZA has been tapped by international burrito cartel Chipotle for their new SAVOR-WAVS musical campaign. The gist is that the company and the legendary Wu producer have translated each of the chain’s 51 all-natural ingredients into 51 unique musical sounds and visualizations, then brought in a selection of artists to create music utilizing the audio.

For his contribution, RZA recruited Method Man, Raekwon and Ghostface for this new track just released today. I pressed play on this expecting some corny Tex-Mex-themed bars, but this is still Wu we’re talking about here and these verses are actually pretty tight. Listen below and head over to this site to play around with the SAVOR-WAVS technology and create an audio translation of your burrito order.
