Yeah, so after subsequent listens to this, it’s perfectly fine, but I’m not sure it lives up to the hype. It’s all good though because Max will eventually be home to make classics. This video is cool though. Shot in Harlem, it features cameos from A$AP Rocky, Juelz Santana, Belly and others.

French Montana Teases “A Lie” Video with The Weeknd & Max B

By far the most anticipated track on French Montana’s new album Jungle Rules, “A Lie” featuring The Weeknd & Max B has big expectations to live up to. French just teased the official video for the track and while there is a quick shot of Max, who couldn’t fully partake for obvious reasons, French and Abel seem to be living it up.

Video: Dave East, Method Man, Max B, Joe Young & Hanz On – Eviction

Here’s a new visual for “Eviction” featuring Method Man, Dave East, Joe Young, Hanz On and Max B with production by Dame Grease. This originally dropped earlier this year, but apparently it will now appear on Meth’s upcoming Methlab 2: The Lithium album available now for pre-order.

French Montana ft. Chinx & Max B – Paid For

Having officially scrapped his MC4 project due to several issues including a full leak, French Montana decides to officially release one of the album’s standout cuts. Utilizing some archival verses from Chinx and Max B, he puts it down for his homeboys on an epic 9-minute track produced by Harry Fraud, The Alchemist and Masar. This would have been even more bittersweet if we hadn’t recently gotten such great news about Max.

French Montana Talks Max B’s Case

French Montana recently called into Hot 97 to speak to Funkmaster Flex about the huge break in Max B’s case that should see him coming home within the next few years. French confirmed the details reported by the NY Daily News the day after the story broke, that Max’s sentence has been reduced from 75 to 20 years and he could be home in as few as 2 for good behavior.

French does note that Max could still potentially sit for 6 more years if he runs into any problems while serving out the rest of his sentence. He also talks about being the courtoom when Max blew trial and his new relationship with Iggy Azaela.

French Montana & Wiz Khalifa Say Max B is Coming Home

On Friday afternoon, Wiz Khalifa tweeted out some news that Max B fans have been hoping and praying would arrive one day. According to Wiz, Max’s 70-year prison sentence has been reduced and he’s on his way home.

That sounds great! But if you’re like me, you were waiting on the wire from French Montana, perhaps Max’s closest friend in the industry since well before the case. Well, French just posted the following on Instagram and it certainly looks like a confirmation to me! UPDATED: It’s confirmed. Read a statement from Max below.

Max B ft. Wiz Khalifa, Alpac & Joe Young – Silver Surfer

Wiz Khalifa adds a verse to the Dame Grease produced “Silver Surfer,” which was originally a track with just Max and Joe Young.

Dame explains to Complex:

“I had been working with Joe Young out of Germany, and he had an unreleased song with Max B from before Max got locked up. When the controversy over Kanye considering naming his album WAVES and the dispute between Wiz Khalifa and Kanye happened, I spoke to Joe and said the time was right to let the world hear Max again.”

French Montana Talks Max B, Kanye on The Breakfast Club

French Montana stops by The Breakfast Club to talk about his new Wave Gods mixtape and speaks on how he ended up with a Nas and Kanye West record, his new film Respect The Shooter, and of course the whole Max B/Waves controversy. He reiterates that Kanye didn’t know much about Max B, offers his opinion on the Wiz and Kanye conflict and says that they’re working behind the scenes to help Max out with his legal situation.
