Video: KXNG Crooked ft. Iliana Eve & Mike Smith – Too Ashamed

Wednesday, October 11th, 2017

In the new video for “Too Ashamed,” KXNG Crooked details his struggles with alcoholism and the self-doubt that accompanies that fight. Also featuring Iliana Eve and Mike Smith, the Jonathan Hay and King Graint-produced track appears on 15 (The Sins of a Father Playlist).

Here’s Crooked on the track:

“More than a few people have told me that the first time they heard ‘Too Ashamed’ it moved them to tears because it reminded them of their struggles with sobriety. They also said the song motivates them to keep fighting the good fight. Those testaments are the reason I continue to make music. Some things are more important to me than awards and accolades.”

KXNG Crooked – Alternative Facts

So I would imagine that few people were surprised when he trotted out press secretary Sean Spicer this past weekend to rattle off easily debunked statistics to the White House press corps about the size of the crowd at his inauguration. His “senior advisor” Kellyanne Conway, a terrible human being in her own right, later defended the misinformation campaign as “alternative facts” during an interview on CNN. And so the term enters the American lexicon and now KXNG Crooked takes it upon himself to illustrate the absurdity of the entire concept.
