These guys have come a long way from “A Hot Winter”, and I’m extremely proud of them. They’re joined on the project by the likes of Combat Jack, Just Blaze, Angie Martinez, Bun B, Smoke DZA and Curren$y, among others.

This week on ItsTheReal’s ‘A Waste of Time’ Podcast, they welcome Jadakiss, who’s out and about pushing his new album Top 5 Dead or Alive. They toss around such topics as the infamous threat to toss a refrigerator at Puff during the “Let The Lox Go” era, battling Ma$e on 125th Street, how he came up with his Rap name after signing with Bad Boy, ghostwriting, the beef with 50 Cent and much more.

Eric and Jeff being from Westchester, this is an especially interesting listen for anybody who also hails from Yonkers or the surrounding area. Kiss touches on some 914 specific gems such as attending Gorton High School (which also happens to be my alma-mater), whupping Harrison High (Jeff and Eric’s old school) in football, Westchester Community College and Styles working at Odd-Job in Cross County, where he stole instrumentals for their Bomb Squad mixtape.
