Clark says he played the beat for B.I.G. by accident!

He immediately loved it but Clark had already promised it to Jay…

And that’s how a classic came together.

Audio: Clark Kent & Rick Ross Talk “Super High”

Monday, April 12th, 2010

Download: Rick Ross feat. Ne-Yo – Super High (Produced by Clark Kent & The Remedy; Scratches by Don Cannon)

Def Jam held a conference call earlier (props to B. Dot for the audio) to talk about the “Super High” single off Ricky Rosé’s 4th LP, Teflon Don, due June 29th.

Clark Kent called in and talked about how he made the beat specifically for Ross.

When it was done, I was like “This is for Ross. Don’t give it to nobody else. I’ma call Khaled, this dude has to have this beat. It’s for him.”… And what you did to the song, thank you.

Later in the call, Ross confirmed a Jay-Z collabo on Telfon Don and explained that the album title was actually his former stage name.

“[C.O.] chatter: never mind that. Cuz if it mattered, C-Murder Shyne would go diamond.
