OVO will be hosting a 10-day pop-up shop for the launch of their “Welcome To The Family” line in collaboration with Cash Money Records starting this Saturday, December 14th in Toronto, New York and LA as well as in Chicago, Miami & New Orleans for one day only (December 14th). The capsule collection includes the Jonathan Mannion picture tee/long-sleeve, the Cash Money Records logo tee/long-sleeve (both pictured below), and some beanies.

The cities listed above will have the OVO x Cash Money pieces, and Toronto will be carrying all the regular stuff you can find at Drake’s “Would You Like A Tour” stops, while quantities last I would imagine. Their whole collection is also currently available on the OVO website.

Video: Rare Kanye West Interview From 2002

Monday, November 4th, 2013

Incredible hour-long interview with MTV’s “You Heard It First” that has never seen the light of day until now, subjects ranging from everything from meeting No I.D. in Chicago, early Roc-A-Fella days and predictions for the future that were pretty much all accurate. I’m guessing this never aired because this is almost exactly the same thing as “Last Call” from College Dropout, but more detailed.

I also realized I had never heard the full story about how he met Mos Def and Kweli. The story about Jay-Z coming up with “H to the Izzo” and him running into the bathroom to call his mom is CLASSIC.

Lil Bibby & Lil Herb – Know They Role (Prod. by C-Sick)

Tuesday, May 28th, 2013

I’ve been waiting for something new to drop from these two together to cover them and even though this song leaked a little while ago, they just put it out officially this week. Don’t be fooled by their age and appearance, their subject matter (and voices) are quite mature. Lil Herb’s Welcome to Fazoland currently sits at the top of my most awaited mixtape list and Lil Bibby is also prepping his Free Crack mixtape. Chicago staple blog FakeShoreDrive even put together a “Best of” mixtape for the two young guns if you wanna play catch up with their catalog.

Rumor is Drake & Project Pat will be hopping on the remix to their track “My Hood”.

If you’re in Chicago this Thursday, Lil Herb & Lil Bibby will be appearing alongside Gunplay and the Save Money Army at FSD & Red Bull’s Sound Select event for only $5. More information here.

Peep the video for the recently released part 2 of Lil Herb’s astounding “4 Minutes of Hell” after the jump along with Herb & Bibby’s now viral “Kill Shit” video.
