In response to Alfamega’s suggestion that the snitching allegations made against him by The Smoking Gun were based on forged documents, the website today posted the entire transcript of Mega’s testimony against one Ali Baaqar.

Hit the jump for another page from the transcipt in which Mr. Zellars tells the defense attorney that Baqaar isn’t the only person he’s given testimony about.

From what I understood from this video, you’d have to be familiar with some of the game theory tactics (no Roots album) that are used either against you or to your advantage when faced with such situations. He then expands on the problem with T.I.

There’s no way to sum it up really, I sorta feel like he has a point here. In the letter, he says what he has to say and it was just enough to get the point across without it coming off as tacky. Sorry Buck. I can’t say I know all the details of him being let go, but it seems a bit unfair that Tip turned his back on him like that when Mega literally went to war for Clifford, even if it was over snitching to the Feds. Like he says in the letter, they were saying the same shit about Cliff when he got such a short sentence… Which may have been one of the reasons T.I. was so quick to cut him out of his circle. Anyway, it’s none of our business, even though they kinda awkwardly made it in our business. And before you say anything, anything at all… just know:

Alfamega Stays Losing

Wednesday, May 13th, 2009

Imagine: Your rap career comes to a screeching halt after you’re outed as a DEA snitch and your boss publicly fires you for failing to disclose the details of your past. Unfortunately for you, while all of this is playing out, you’re sitting in a Fulton County jail cell on felony charges of weapons possession and obstruction of justice. As it turns out, a week prior, you were stopped by cops who found a loaded pistol in your SUV and tried to arrest you. You, being the goon that you are, resisted arrest, were sprayed with pepper spray, chased, and hit with a baton before leaping 30 feet from a parking garage and shattering your ankle bone.

Alfamega, this is your life.

T.I.: “I don’t forsee me or my company playing a role in his personal or professional business.”

Even though all our artists and employees are asked by us to be honest and open about their past history, at no time did Alfa disclose to me or Grand Hustle what has now appeared in the media. He essentially deceived us by failing to fully disclose the truth about his past and there is no place in our organization for dishonest and misleading behavior. As I have always said, you must take responsibility for your own actions. We at Grand Hustle can not support or condone the blaming of others for our own mistakes. I hope and pray to god bless his financial plans, but I don’t forsee me or my company playing a role in his personal or professional business. End.

Wow, say it ain’t so Mega. According to The Smoking Gun, everybody’s favorite rap goon and symbol of Grand Hustle’s muscle, worked with the DEA as an “informant who snitched out criminal cohorts and testified as a government witness at the trial of an Atlanta heroin trafficker.”

Here’s what TSG found when they dug into the legal history of Cedric “Alfamega” Zellars:

Court records show that Zellars began working with law enforcement officials after he was sentenced in September 1995 to 110 months in a federal gun case (Zellars, who had a prior felony robbery conviction, was collared for selling weapons to an undercover federal agent). Zellars “agreed to cooperate with authorities and was debriefed” about the criminal activity of several individuals. “In particular he was debriefed concerning the drug trafficking activities of a Mr. Ali Baaqar,” according to a government court filing, a copy of which you’ll find below. During his cooperation against Baaqar, Zellars met with a DEA agent and a federal prosecutor, and subsequently testified at trial. “Ali Baaqar was convicted of conspiracy to distribute heroin based upon the trial testimony of [Zellars] and others.” In return for his snitching, Zellars had 18 months shaved off his prison term when he was resentenced in July 1997 by Judge J. Owen Forrester.

Damn homie. Read all of the supporting evidence here.
