a-alikes

“Since 9/11” is a detailed look into the way the system has tried to camouflage safety as a scape goat to violate citizens rights and invade the communities privacy. Produced by RBG comrade Tahir, “Since 9/11” is featured on the A-Alikes recent release HH3. A-Alikes are currently in the studio working on Us Against them the follow up to there sophmore album I Eat U Eat.

Ness of the A-Alikes was detained by US customs on the way back from Oslow, Norway for an out of state warrent and was subsequently held for 5 days at the Vernon C. Baines Center(VCBC) in the Bronx on Sept 5th 2009 at 12pm. He has now been released and scheduled to go back to court later this month. He is scheduled for an interview tonight at 7pm EST on UK’s Conspiracy Radio show where he will elaborate more on these current issues.

Cool song. Would love to hear, say… Jay Electronica rap over it.

This track is off the latest A-Alikes mixtape, “The Hustler and the Hunted 3.” The mixtape has been composed so vivid that it plays as a true-life movie in the making. They touch on topics that address everything from self-preservation to US economics. Controversy still surrounds the NY based rap group, A-Alikes, ever since they openly admitted to the FCC about infiltrating several radio stations across the US just last month with a special uncensored message. DJ Victorious seamlessly incorporated excerpt of these recordings into the project. Raye 6, I.G. and Afayah, Checkmate, Tahir, DJ Butta, and even Kanye West offered their talent to this latest release. This Mos Def feature will officially be on their upcoming album “Us Against Them” dropping later this year.
