Chicago’s Alex Wiley drops the second volume in his Village Party series, Heaven’s Gate. While the first installment was released as a free mixtape, you’re gonna have to come out of your pockets for this one. Guest features include Chance The Rapper and Twista. Growing up in Yonkers, I was basically raised on Kiss bars and dirt weed. Over the years, I’ve learned not to set my expectations to high for his studio albums, as I vastly prefer his mixtape output to the stuff he makes for the masses. That being said, he’s always good for a few certified bangers per tape, and this time around it’s no different. The guest features here are extensive and esteemed: Puff Daddy, Lil Wayne, Future, Wiz Khalifa, Jeezy and Swizz Beatz to name a few.
