DuckDown records, still celebrating their 15 year anniversary, will set off the summer tomorrow night at Le Poisson Rouge in NYC with their “It’s OK To Wear White Again” Party. Artists scheduled to perform include Sean Price, The Kickdrums, Buckshot, Sabzi of Blue Scholars & Team Facelift. Admission is only 10 bucks if you show up on some Santeria shit.

Rocksmith x Black Star… Blacksmith? Nah right.
Rocksmith x Black Star Collaborative Tees for May 30th Concert:
Rocksmith will release two t-shirts to commemorate the highly anticipated on-stage return of Black Star, the legendary duo of Mos Def and Talib Kweli on May 30th. The two designs will be available during the Black Star show at Nokia Theater in NYC. The Black Star concert, presented by Blacksmith and LiveNDirect, will consist of an early and late show on one day only.
I’m a Black Star stan but I’m not gonna be in N.Y. this weekend to see this. Hopefully they will have another show like this if they can get along (no shots!!!). Someone needs to get footage of “Respiration”, and “Thieves In The Night” if they do it, and send it in. I’ve seen Talib perform maybe 3 times already but never seen Mos. He’s finally coming to town in August I believe so that should be a treat. Where the fuck is that album!??
