This design is one of 5 different designs created for the All Black Everything collection, which will be auctioned off tomorrow on eBay to benefit the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation. Only 2 pairs of each shoe have been created, one pair for Jay and one for the auction, so if you’re looking to cop, get ready to spend a grip. The auction starts tomorrow morning at 9 and Jay will be performing tomorrow night at Radio City Music Hall as part of Nike’s continuing World Basketball Festival festivities.

Thirstin Howl III shows off his infant son’s already ridiculous’Lo collection. My son is about 8 months right now, but I have to admit, I haven’t really laced him yet. I’m gonna have to rectify that. It’s never too early to school the babies. I wish somebody would have schooled me from an early age. This generation of kids with parents from the rap era don’t know how lucky they are. We had to figure this shit out ourselves. It’s funny though because most of my ‘Lo is in storage at my parents house and lately when they’ve been stopping by to visit, my pops has been coming through rocking some of my old pieces. SMH. I guess it works both ways.

I have to send a big congratulations to my Complex Network brethren Matt Hafhill of Nice Kicks on the power move he just made from blogger to storeowner. This past week saw the grand opening of the Nice Kicks brick-and-mortar location in Austin, TX. It’s a beautiful thing to see a fellow blogger bridge the gap between the online and retail worlds and do it on his own terms. Maybe I’ll open a spot in NY and sell Usershare links. Anyway, here’s some footage from the grand opening party which was DJ’d by legendary music business and sneaker world heavyweight Clark Kent and attended by the governor of the Lone Star State, Mr. Bun B.
