DMX – Redemption of the Beast (Artwork & Tracklist)

Tuesday, January 6th, 2015

So, surprise! X has a new album dropping next Tuesday, January 13th called Redemption of the Beast. It’s an independent release on Seven Arts Entertainment and it features a Freeway guest appearance. So go ahead and marinate on that for a minute.

UPDATED: There has been some confusion about this album, with some people assuming that Redemption of The Beast was the album that X and Swizz Beatz were confirmed to be working on. It is not. Swizz adamantly denied as much earlier this week. Here’s a statement from Seven Arts Entertainment about the origins of the LP.

“Seven Arts is pleased to release the second album from the 52 masters acquired by Seven Arts from DMX and his producers in 2012. DMX and his team fully cooperated on the production of this album. ‘Redemption of the Beast’ was the second album planned for release with DMX in September of 2012, following the release of ‘Undisputed’. These new masters represent the best of this legendary artist and offer production by some of the best in the industry. All fans are invited to listen to the music, which is the real thing, the ‘rough and ready’ of DMX. The music and artistry speaks for itself.”
