while the content & lyrics are there & relatively switch up enough to make the tracks interesting…i wish he played with more flows over some of the beats. maybe e’en approached a couple of them with a verbose air with some poignant ‘i’m that dude’ dancing.
Not to jump on the bandwagon, but this would be my only light “criticism” of the album too. I’m not even sure if it’s the flow as much as the little intonation/vocal inflection he puts on the word(s) at the end of each line but it can get a bit predictable. Wasn’t really a issue for me over the duration of the album (I ain’t heard any other music from dude) but in the future it most likely could be. And a bit of straight spitting here & there might be a better juxtaposition to the more melodic introspective parts. If its a journey through a chaotic mind in a state of flux then there’s gonna be more contrast & mood changes I guess. Just my thoughts. Dope project all the same.
