Heard he had gotten signed to Cash Money & did some digging on Dat Piff. Dude’s the truth. He can do the Bounce style of rap that originated in Baton Rouge/New Orleans but dude has depth, a distinctive voice & his mixtape run has more then a few quality songs.
Bout time Baby & Wayne stopped fucking around with the Lil Twist’s & the Lil’ Chuckie’s & signed a Louisiana MC who’s more then an accent & some punchlines.

He's Future if Future could really rap. He has a knack for melody & can put together some decent hooks. A lil grooming & that YMCMB machine behind him, creating singles shouldn't be a problem.
But dude can really rap. Some molding & chiseling & I can't see Gates NOT having some modicum of commercial success.

I usually have to do that to most music that drops these days & that Luca Brasi tape was no different. But going back to it, the potential is clear. He’s a little Future, a little Flo-Rida, but with bars. This tape’s a lot more polished then his earlier efforts & the standouts really standout.
