Waynes continued melt really bums me out. He, along with Gucci Mane, was one of the first rappers that introduced me to a really weird side of rap music, syrup stuffed mixtapes and hit singles with no chorus’ (A Milli). His implosion was inevitable I suppose but with each passing year it seems less and less likely he’s ever going to reclaim that insane amount of power he had from 06-08.
