Video: Denzil Porter – Solar Flight
Porter pops up with a new visual from his Porter’s Pot project, which you can grab here.
On the track:
“Solar Flight”, produced by Christopher “Claws” Stevens samples the 1977 funk/jazz song of the same title by Mandre. Because hip hop was created off of the sounds of funk and jazz, recording this track was very special for Denzil. He included neighborhood friends Maurice Parks on the funky guitar solo and Sean Taylor on the trumpet to bring together the raw, soulful harmony of the track.

lol @ writing ‘in need of pussy’ in a manifesto of contempt & spiritual unrest tho.
‘my ultimate goal as a capable, able bodied, health conscious man, is to shoot up the club, ie., impregnate a woman. have a few mini dorners that i could do hostile territory field training drills with. not shoot up a precinct, people nor pin up model centerfold images for targets. i’m so tired of feeling desolate, sad, lonely.
the system has blandon-ized me!”
