When Meek signed with Tip his music didn’t warrant priority anywhere. Funny point too, because without Lex Luger I doubt Meek would have had an “I’m a boss” in him. Which is to say a studio session with lex would have gotten Meek priority anywhere…

Drake has shown he knows how to craft an album, something Vado obviously no clue how to do or he’d still be at the ‘Scope.
I think Drake could help Vado find the hit records he needs to actually get a Vado album in stores.
And Drake has no other artists lined up as of yet.
Vado would be top priority & that’s important. If you’re artist 1,041, you gotta make the music to get the label to pay attention. If Vado signs to OVO, he’s the franchise, all the energy gets put into his project.
But signing to an artist is always dubious.

I think Khaled would be a good look. All those connects will get you any feature you want. He’s obviously loyal and fights for his artists cuz this nigga Ace Hood has a 0% chance at success and still gets albums out. A nigga like Vado should thrive.
