I think Cons was mad at Kanye for not being honest with him…like he said, when you don’t know what the master plan is then you can’t adjust your plans accordingly. It can honestly mean death in the industry.

Seems he was loyal to GOOD when they didn’t even have a record deal, so when shit fell through and he wasn’t brought on the team he was left stranded when he could have been making moves accordingly.

Plus when your boy is rapping about all the money he has and he owes you 200 G’s…it’s gotta make you feel a certain way. I don’t care who you are.

  2. hood trill stunting aka trap day man Says:

Q-Tip might be the worst man, especially after watching that Documentary.

    > what are your findings per the movie to state that tho?

  3. rex hussla Says:

I co-sign everything that Cons’ was saying except for the opinions on his talent and legendary status LMAO

All the shit he was saying about Kanye and Q-Tip is true…Q-Tip might be the worst man, especially after watching that Documentary.

  4. &What?! Says:

also…when he said that hov directed that line from OTIS to him was when the melt became third degree.

    What line?

  6. rex hussla Says:

I just feel, whether true or not, he has this attitude like “I’m not carrying you bums on my back anymore”.

He’s quick to let everybody know he did most of the old beats, he’s obviously the best emcee out the group so I’m sure he’s a little resentful of that, because I think they split most of the money evenly and he doesn’t want to that. He shouldn’t do that either…but they should be able to come up with a plan that helps everybody.

He just wants to do his DJ sets and whatever other shit he works on, it’s been like 2 solo albums in ten years. Like Cons says…the rest of the group is hurting in one way or the other, the entire world wants to see you live, only person holding anything back is Q-Tip. Just do 2 months of shows as a group during the summer and get that money man c’mon…it’s not like he’s all that busy with a solo career. Everybody would benefit.

  7. Black Says:

No rapper should sign to their homie. Shit is a the music business, one of the dirtiest games there is. Cons has beef with his old record label, thats like the oldest story in the history of music. Problem is the label head was his homie so he feels extra hurt.

He might have a legitimate point but it gets lost in the melt. Trips to the telly and baby shower gifts? That was a bitch move.

    Stop right there, 5.

Cons had his lil mini-run with Tribe.

When Ye found Cons…he was working at the Gap.

    Selling sweatshirts (no Earl.)

Cons even said that he would deny he was Cons when backpackers asked if he was Cons.

It’s not like the nigga was mulling 8 deals on the label and Iovine and Baby was in a all out fucking bidding war.

The nigga Cons was dead in the water.

    Ye fathered his whole existence.

And now the nigga wanna get recognition off the fact that he gave Ye lines…nigga, stop it. Ye been hot. If you gave him an idea here or there, then just appreciate that he allowed your monkey ass into the studio.

Ye took ideas and concepts from ‘Fest, Lupe, etc. – all them niggas was just happy to be part of history.

For Cons to keep shitting on Ye relentlessly after Ye gave him a second chance at rap is ridiculous. And then Cons want a fucking gift. Nigga you out your fucking mind.

I called you a hermaphrodite, but you really a transvestite.

    ^^

Tip DEF has an ego. I can agree about that. But can you blame dude for not wanting to be up and around guaranteed headaches like that?

Once they came together for the show, the nigga Phife wants to bring the drama instead of being forward and saying, “Yo, I’m struggling on stage. Chill on putting me out in front.” but apparently that’s too hard for niggas.

What makes it worse is Con’s is family and he’s acting like that.

  13. Mack Martinez Says:

Bad look for Tip career wise to do a Tribe reunion. It’s a step backward.

    But let us not forget

The man slipped the word Gone into every bar!

Also, this new 50 Cent song is gahbage (Shocker). This guy cant escape ’02!

  15. hugh hef Says:

Kanye West has been trash ever since Big Sean and Pusha Teeth have been penning his lyrics…

When quence was writing west lyrics….Kanye West #1 lyrically in the game..

Quence leaves West…Ye is garbage now…Big Sean took his place….

the fuck boy X drug lord doesnt fit with Ye west

For a show?!?! Hahaha you’re right, an all vinyl Neo Soul set at some club would probably be better

    ^^

Right. Is it business? Or is it personal?

If he’s spent that whole 20 minutes like, “I want my mothafuckin 200 grand… nuggh!” then that’s one thing. Ye should pay him.

But you go out there and shit on the team that brought you back to life and want a cookie for the loyalty you JUST proved you didn’t really have in the first place? Get this nigga outta here lol

  19. KING SOLOMON Says:

Ya act like ya aint heard me before, Cons was folding crewnecks when Ye put him on. He knows better smh
As for Kamaal, phife was dying on a hospital bed and all he could do was call when that was his man since way when Ali and Jarobi was there but i get Tip had better things to do

Every artist who contributed to Graduation.

Not a single mention of Consequence or Dexter Mills (Cons’s gubment name).

Cons’s assertion that he wrote Graduation is fucking shameful.

  21. Bricktop Says:

    You on point, Tip?

  22. hugh hef Says:

you cant deny that Consequence made that album….The graduation wouldn’t be what it was without Consequence…

Quence wrote the lyrics to the Graduation..

  23. Mack Martinez Says:

Chi-town gonna be below freezing till at least Sunday.

    Shit’s frigid.

  24. hugh hef Says:

Quence also said that Jay-Z aint stab un rivera…he went with 4 dudes..and one of the dudes stabbed Un Rivera..

So I guess Nas was right…

  25. Bricktop Says:

    Twin socks for frigid digits.

  26. hugh hef Says:

    Quence also sonned Joe Budden….tombout

  27. Black Says:

When quence was writing west lyrics….Kanye West #1 lyrically in the game..

    ^^^^^^^

Thats too far cuz lol. Shit I’d argue WTT is Ye at his best lyrically.

  28. Mag Says:

That Cons interview speaks on just how much business influence the Camel has on ye. all that fuckery screams hovito.

  29. hugh hef Says:

    Kanye West = Dr. Dre

    Kanye West = Diddy

I used to think that Kanye West had a chance to be the GOAT.

but how you gonna be a GOAT, when dudes in the background is penning your lyrics.

Listen to Ye now…he sound like Big Sean…

when ye had quence as his ghostwriter…he was murking shit left and right…bodying hov on tracks…ripping Khaled records…

  30. Black Says:

You’d think that this stigma would cause more damage within a genre that prides itself on lyricism.

    ^^^^^^^&

Probably cuz its impossible to really prove. Unless a nigga has reference tracks of him spitting the verses the accused artist can always claim the nigga helped with hooks/melodies/concepts but not the bars.

  31. Bricktop Says:

How is it that Lauren Hill was the only one to lose it all over ghostwriting allegations on a mostly r&b album? You’d think that this stigma would cause more damage within a genre that prides itself on lyricism.

  32. hugh hef Says:

You gotta feed ya wolves…if you don’t feed ya wolves…they gone feed on you..

You gotta feed ya dogs…word to Michael Vick…if you dont feed your dogs…they gone feed on you..

ye shoulda fed the beaver…now he gnawing on him…got his front teeth all on his grill…

I can see Quence veeners all over ye steez tho…

  33. Harlem World:My hoe$ they do drug$ Says:

  35. Harlem World: My hoe$ they do drug$ Says:

    water fountain dripping wit love”

  36. hugh hef Says:

Quence losing tho…that jew broad with the big nose and horse face…is a gold digger…she trying to run through quence funds…and run up his credit card bill and not work…just because she had his seed..

this is why I dont fuck with women….I will not break my back working…while you on the couch watching reality shows…nah b…that aint me…

    No leeching lazy bitches..

  37. hugh hef Says:

Quence aint hurting neither…dood leasing that Bently….

  38. KING SOLOMON Says:

I aint saying Quence didnt have some influence on concepts and formulas on Ye’s style but the nigga like to take credit for more than he s due
Remember he thinks he has an instrumental hand in John Legend’s stardom
he also thinks Big sean has a deal because of him
he even think that beat life and rhymes sold cause of him
    Niggas is delusional

  39. Black Says:

That shit about the baby gift was embarrassing though…that’s when you need to tell your girl to shut the F up hahahaa

    ^^^^^^

Thats all I’m saying lol. Give a fuck how yall got there Cons, the nigga Ye dont fuck with you and you want a gift? You make yoirself look like a leech type of dude.

  40. Bricktop Says:

Colder than a brick on ice.

  41. Harlem World:My hoe$ they do drug$ Says:

    T-Pain – primary artist

    =================
    RIP T Pain

  42. rex hussla Says:

Hahaaa Cons and Kanye were actually friends, like he said. It was more personal than business. Cons was loyal to him, and Ye fronted on paying him his 200 G’s…meanwhile having a whole album rhyming about wiping his ass with Louis V scarfs and hundreds. He filed a lawsuit to get his money and Ye just stopped being his friend.

Of course Kanye is waaaay more talented, but if Rhymefest wrote Jesus Walks…pretty sure Cons has wrote one of your favorite Ye verses.

All I’m saying is I believe Cons because Tip and Ye seem like some funny style dudes.

That shit about the baby gift was embarrassing though…that’s when you need to tell your girl to shut the F up hahahaa

  43. KING SOLOMON Says:

Quence is a helluva ghostwriter…..he the reason Ye got 18 grammies…

    ^ I guess he s also a ghost producer

I’m embarrassed to say I did watch some of that Love & Hip-Hop show, only because a friend from High School might be on it because she moved to Jersey and was roommates with some of the broads on the show…

Joe Budden comes off [ll] as the creepiest weirdest motherfucker ever. Dude needs to stop with the biker jackets and that strange beard too [ll]

  53. Bricktop Says:

Word. I get it. But the ghostwriting allegations have been flying all over the rap scene as long as I care to remember. Yet one r&b chick makes one lil album, and BOOM!!! Career terminated. And we’re talking r&b/pop music where it’s LONG been accepted that 99% of them don’t ever pen their own lyrics. Shit just seems bass ackwards is all.

  54. ***biggumskiller*** Says:

    What new 50 song?

  55. Danny Ocean Says:

    Dexter Mills (Cons’s gubment name).

  56. Harlem World: My hoe$ they do drug$ Says:

Lets say Cons is right, it still wont change the fact that Kanye West is the biggest main event in hip hop.

    Jay peeped game, hence WTT.

He keeps critics and fans talking, sells records, sells tickets, breaks new artists, blends genres & makes good music!

    Nobody compares, period.

Let Cons make an album without Kanye and see how many fux are given.
