the kinda project you’re proposing “Hov, Nas, and Kanye did an album over Premo, Alchemist, Rza, Pete rock” would not be the art house style album u imagine it would be.
there would have to be singles, labels would have they hands all in it – all these niggas would have to make money off of it. i dont think thered be beef or clashing..i think thered be a million cooks in the kitchen and youd end up with something so shiny and glossy it would sicken you.

Say word if Hov, Nas, and Kanye did an album over Premo, Alchemist, Rza, Pete rock production – it wouldnt turn a proverbial corner in hip hop?
^
I mean, theoretically, it might.
but that’s like asking Charles Barkley and Magic Johnson to come out from behind the broadcasting studio tables, and suit up again…so that basketball could turn a “proverbial corner.”
they onto new ventures, in new seasons of their life. MJ isn’t a hungry player anymore…he’s in the boardrooms, in the exec offices, etc.
it’s up to one of the new faces to carry the torch and turn the corner. Hov and Kanye and Nas aren’t and shouldn’t be interested in it anymore, in my opinion.

there would have to be singles NO, labels would have they hands all in itNO – all these niggas would have to make money off of itAND NO</B..
^ I posed a hypothetical question, and in my assumption none of this you mentioned matters.
…and in real life, it doesnt have to matter if you think about it.
January 14th, 2013 at 3:29 pm
Lets say the did it for the culture.
^
i’m a camel hater. camel is the judas of the culture. he would never do anything for the culture that didn’t simultaneously line his pockets one way or another.
and lol u cant jump back and say oh it was jsut a hypothetical, because anything is true hypothetically. we have to consider some reality or else whats the point of even discussing it
…the business aspect of such a project has to be considered cause rappers is jsut as much businessmen as they are artists, if not more so.

roff, nothing worst than an html fail when tryin to drive home a point.
but shot, all I was saying is that, none of that has to matter.
Lets say the did it for the culture.

Nipsey Hussle is awful
^
i think nipsey hussle is actually mad talented but man hes on a list with a million other dudes that can’t put all the pieces together. for example, his beat selection is tragic.
but when he gets it right, its above average.
forerver on some fly shit song/video is one of my favorite joints from 2012

“and youd end up with something so shiny and glossy it would sicken you”
^ each of these niggas bring something completely different to the table. Nas’ job more or less will be keeping niggas on an even keel, keeping the flossing at bare minimal. Hov will instruct niggas rhyme and remind niggas of the dough. ye will be the rhyme like your life depended on it cat.

hmmm the 10% are the bloodsuckers of the poor that teach that god is unseen spook while they live in luxury in the present, meanwhile the 85% has to wait until the hereafter for their reward.
