Juelz never fell off lyrically. He had some lean years in terms of output but I can’t point to a wack single or verse since he fell back from recording solo stuff.
Elz is a more grounded ASAP Rocky, but he can get menacing & have it be believable, something Rocky doesn’t do very well. Although there’s gun talk all throughout Long.Live.A$AP, I can never visualize Rocky carrying out his threats.
The Diplomat resurrection is contingent on this new Juelz album more then anything coming from Cam or Jimmy.
Juelz is the only one still signed to one of the majors & has the best chance to rekindle the groups buzz. The joint with Lil’ Reese was decent, proof that Elz can still be relevant even though he’s been out of the loop for a while & this new joint is kinda crackish.

Juelz has content in his bars. Listen to that “Pain” joint off of Trav’s latest tape where he talks about his 1st baby moms. Or go back to some of the heavy joints off of From Me 2 U. He’s always had the skill set to be the most complete MC in DipSet.
I think the time away has added an extra layer of maturity to Santana’s formula. His next album can’t be any halfway shit. If it’s not near classic status, he needs to shelve it until it is.

Vado was on top of his game in 2009 after dropping his mixtape “Boss of All Bosses” with Cam’ron, which was followed up by “Slime Flu,” but after signing to Interscope things got pretty quiet. Many thought that Vado had been dropped from the label, but during a recent interview with XXL, he set the record straight.
“The Interscope deal, if you want me to be honest with you, I feel like I shouldn’t have even went all the way to the West Coast,” he said. “I feel I should’ve stayed grounded with the New York labels. They understand and know me so they know how to handle me, they know what to do. You go all the way over there; they don’t know what’s going on. So now, I gotta fix everything up and I gotta work with their music. It was just a whole big difference to the point that I had to ask for my walking papers.”
Vado also offered an inside look into Interscope, which he says is currently “under construction.”
“Never. I was never dropped. They gave me too much money. I walked off. They gave me the opportunity to leave so I left. They [weren't] helping me in no shape or form.”
He added, “So you know like, TDE is helping Kendrick, Game is doing everything on his own, from getting the features and beats and putting it out on his own, so it’s sort of like play at your own risk over there. So I had to get back over here. I’m not over there on the West, I’m over here with people that’s seen me grow up at these labels. This is where I wanna be and they want me here.”
