You can’t really label him a gansta rapper/conscious rapper. He’s neither. But you get an overall feel of his artistry and you see its progressive and within is sincerity. Not preachy but even in his hardest songs, theres an implied tendancy for peace.
@ glacial, I agree. Sai is going about it the wrong way, u have to give them god with their gangster or u are kweli status. You can have positive songs, but if they are all positive than u fucking up the balance.
I remember an interview were Master P was condemning the voilent nature in music, I think specifically 50 cent. Now look at P, money getting low, he out here recruiting niggas who spew that same violence he was dissaproving.
