I been bumping that Rockie Fresh Driving ’88 tape.

Shits really well done. Reminds me of Stalley’s first tape in terms of how well it was put together for a free release without any major label machinations.

And “Wassup” didn’t have a chopped & screwed hook. It was just an airy fun song that’s great to listen to when you’re drunk or high.

Meek’s songs be having words flying at you 100MPH. That shit’ll blow your high.

It’s extra wavy if you can prove you can generate money without a major’s involvement. You can walk away with a bigger slice of the pie or at the very least, a shit load of money upfront.

Yams is key. Alotta bloggers fucked with RealNiggaTumblr so he had alot of influential eyes on him when he started to really put the whole ASAP brand out there.

I’ll admit it, I thought it was cool but I didn’t really see the vision until the Peso video. That’s when you could see they had the whole shit already figured out. They presented an act that was already fully fleshed out to the labels & took the biggest check.
