September 11th, 2012 at 10:37 am

September 11th, 2012 at 10:38 am
Joell worst quarter of the slaughter…
September 11th, 2012 at 10:38 am
Never completely understood the Sean hate.
Dude is ah ight. Not great but ok.
He never ruined any tracks. IMO.
Sometimes corny, but there are much cormier rappers. At least he tries to have bars. And he don’t think he is the second coming of NasGawd like Wale does.
September 11th, 2012 at 10:40 am
Sriously tho.. Joell has zro redeeming qualities…
Royce and Crooked can rap..
Budden fucks video vixens ( granted they all smutted out and ran thru)
what does Joell do?…
September 11th, 2012 at 10:41 am
Joell has bars, it’s just that his voice is unbearable.
September 11th, 2012 at 10:42 am

September 11th, 2012 at 10:43 am

September 11th, 2012 at 10:45 am
I still say Joey can make a classic album.
Joe Budden: The Album was cool for the time but I think Budden can do way better with the right production/concepts.
September 11th, 2012 at 10:45 am
I can’t co-sign anybody in this picture.
September 11th, 2012 at 10:45 am
Budden needs more Just Blaze..
period
September 11th, 2012 at 10:46 am
And it’s not much of a commitment to click a few buttons for a download or spend a few minutes browsing a mixtape.
You obviously don’t love this shit like I do….but I ain’t mad atch
^^
C’mon, Amp…
Browsing =/= Listening. I might as well be searching for beats if I’m gonna do that.
And I love this shit too. Often times more than the nigga I’m listening to, which is the problem.

September 11th, 2012 at 10:48 am
Budden best in Slaughterhouse, quit playin. right before the group started, Royce da 5’9 was about to be in food in their pending battle
September 11th, 2012 at 10:49 am
I don’t be interested in shit these dudes talk about. Their last album was tracks on tracks on tracks of them battling imaginary mcs with damn near all of them on every song. Little to no replay value type music. After hearing that the Marshall influence is all over this newest album i decided to avoid this one as well.

^^
Can he… Perhaps
Will he… Hell no.
Too much needed to go into it. I don’t see him making anything that really moves the culture. Which is important.

I browse to let me know if there’s anything worth going back & giving my full listening attention.
I download alot of shit & trash alot of shit.
But I find a lot of gems buried under the bullshit too.
September 11th, 2012 at 10:50 am
i NEVER heard a wack Royce verse…
i know he basically stay saying similar shit with battle bars at imaginary and real haters, but that nigga always sound hungry and ferocious…and the flow never strays off course…been around a long time..
he’s kinda like the Jadakiss of Detroit
September 11th, 2012 at 10:50 am
Joey can make a Joe Budden classic… but a universal one? Where everyone not steeped in his lore can appreciate? I don’t know.

September 11th, 2012 at 10:52 am
Royce is underrated cause he’s on that rappitty rap shit & honestly, that scares some listeners off.
Niggas hear all them words & metaphors & pop culture references coming at them at such high speeds….that shit can be frightening for a feeble mind.
September 11th, 2012 at 10:54 am
That album Royce & Em did was rubbish tho.
September 11th, 2012 at 10:55 am
Cosign Royce being the best.
I dudes commercial aspirations would have played out better. I would contest that niggas would have crowned him.
Dude BEEN killin shit.
I blame em
September 11th, 2012 at 10:55 am

^^^^
He can. Cause alot of his stuff is relatable on a basic human level. Plus, he’s proven he can make the kind of records that get spin on radio & MTV (Back when they played videos). He just needs some direction & some good beats.

———
LOL this is true for some, but even for someone thats a fan of the game and the art itself the shit gets tiring after the first 3 or 4 tracks
these dudes gotta learn how to flex the group dynamic, switch up the approach a bit. I’m not saying they should dumb it down and go the pop route but challenge the listener and flex something different to grab some new fans. If negus wasn’t checking for them individually, why should they when they’re doing the same thing as a collective?
