Video: Rick Ross – God Forgives I Dont Promo Tour Vlog #3
Gunplay joins Ross as they hit Cleveland and Detroit on the God Forgives promo run.
So I listened to the album last night and while I hate to even comment on a project after just one listen, I have to say that a few of those joints left me underwhelmed. I feel like with the exception of a few standouts (“3 Kings”, “Sixteen”, “Amsterdam”, the joint with Nas), and the shit we heard ages ago (“So Sophisticated”, “Rich Forever”), most of the other stuff will ending up getting skipped when I play this album. And it’s funny because Ross is as tight lyrically as he’s ever been, and most of the beats are far from wack, it’s just, I don’t know, alot of this MMG shit has been sounding the same for a minute now…

The swastika tattoo is a big controversial topic amongst your fans as well as critics. Can you clear the air on that?
Gunplay: Yeah, it’s just my symbol of genocide to the bullshit. Mass murdering the bullshit. Too much bullshit out here. I came to Nazi that shit. I came to Hitler that motherfucker. Put all the fake motherfuckers in the gas chamber and gas your fuck ass. That’s what I’m here to do. So niggas better walk light around a nigga. I’ma show niggas. I can talk but I’ma show niggas. All that fake shit, I’ma call that shit out and I’ma stomp that shit out. I got a mission. Just playing the game for the meantime.

Rick albums having dope instrumentals doesn’t impress anymore. It’s become a given. After 5 albums and a bunch of mixtapes, subject matter remains exactly the same. No variation of any sort.

You’re stating facts that benefit your opinion. Look back at history. White people were the first to be enslaved, raped, and pillaged. Hence the word Slavic.
One person commits a horrible crime at a movie theater and you blame all white people for it? That is the most racially driven bigoted statement I’ve heard in a long time.

The very first people to be enslaved and oppressed as far as we can trace history were white Slavs from eastern Europe. Hence the name “Slavic” = Slave. Captured by Mongols and sold to Africans, mostly Egyptians. The first oppressing slave owners were Black and Arab, with white slaves. That is a non refutable fact of history.
I’m not here to pass blame on ANY RACE. Slavery and racism is wrong. I’m not telling you that the sky is blue, you already know that…

SMDH @ the features for Busta’s next album, which apparently is dropping for free on Google Music.
“We got the incredible Tunechi the boss on the joint, we got Rick Ross, we got Trey Songz, we got Robin Thicke on there, we got my fellow Brooklynite Maino and Anthony Hamilton on a record together, we got Gucci Mane on the project, we got Reek Da Villain and J-Doe.”

what time period we talking here, b/c the term “Slav” as we know it today derives from the Latin “Slavus”, and the first recorded use of that term didn’t occur until around 800 AD, well after the decline of Kemet(Egypt).
Next time you decide to school negus do the knowledge on your etymology

A counter argument that has recently been brought up, that has neither been confirmed nor denied. I’m willing to accept the possibility of yours if you accept the possibility of mine.
However let’s say the scholars got the translation wrong and that Slavic does not mean Slave, does your sudden google search say that whites were NOT enslaved by Mongols, Arabs, and Blacks?

Next time you do a google search and copy the first thing that conveniently goes against my argument, try not to sound so arrogant about it.

I agree. A lot of the production from MMG artists sounds the same. That last Meek Mill’s mixtape I coulda swore was produced all by the same damn person cuz they sounded so similar.
