God is great. What I love about the Qur’an is that it says if you don’t believe in Jesus as one of the prophets of God, you are not Muslim. Same goes for Moses and Abraham. Not only that but it regards science not as blasphemy, but rather as a closer more precise and descriptive look into the creation of God. That’s pretty intense for someone to understand that barely halfway into the 7th century. I’m a Catholic but Islam is definitely more modern, more up to date. Us Christians are being fed lies everyday about how Islam is the religion of terror, that it’s for people who live in sand huts but I’ve been blessed to grow up in France and become friends with Algerians and Moroccans who really took time to explain Islam to me, and the Qur’an is a thing of beauty and Islam at the base is paralleled to Christianity.
Funny you should mention it, Zachary my Moroccan co-worker said I should fast as well when we spoke yesterday.
