Video: Nas Speaks On Lost “No Such Thing As White Jesus” Record
A moment of silence, for the little homie’s lost track.
“I’ve talked about a song with Frank Ocean about a year and a half before anybody worked with him and since then it’s been a heavily anticipated record, but I didn’t talk about which song actually. Now, I’ve talked about us working and we never got to that point, completing a great record. Who knows? I guess it would’ve been a big record if it ever came to light.”

True.
MJ and the Beatles impact on music, not only their genre, was far greater than what Nas has done for hip hop tho.

I said it before, and I must mention it again. Nas is real nice. Granted. But that Queens Story track, the producer mixes Chopin’s Etude op10 no12 in it. I thought that was pretty awesome. Classical music is beautiful, and I love hearing it mixed with hiphop. Good shit. Impressive. Nas’ producers know their music.

Serious Question: Am I the only 1 that thinks it’s corny when NR staff post Nas related stuff & Always drop a ‘lil homie’ reference? … Why?
Shit just seems super square too me. Like really, in 2012?? Who the even hell cares? I dig this site but moves like that make me feel like the staff, & or whomever, r making the post r jealous.
News Flash – dude is more successful that u, so y even bother w/the shot?
Someone has to explain this to me. Is there a behind the scene/personal issue – cuz if not, it’s lame.
