Video: Large Professor Talks Original “Ether”
Large Pro says “Ether” was originally supposed to be over a beat by Swizz? That’s news to me. He also mentions the “original” more aggressive version of the song that we’ve been hearing about for years. If you’ve spent any signifigant amount of time on the Rap Internets then you’ve probably come across these alleged lyrics from the “original” version. They’re almost certainly fake, but that line about Jay in Carbon gets passed around and quoted by Nas Stanley’s like gospel. In any event, I wonder if a recording of that original version exists anywhere and if it does, then how fucking crazy would will it be if when it leaks?
