Vin Diesel’s name was thrown around when the script was originally done but The Rock would be perfect.
The tone of the movie is so important. If they play it serious, it could become a franchise of it’s own, i.e. Blade.
If they do it campy & for the kids it could work, it just wouldn’t be Lobo. If they handle it poorly, it could end up as big a shitstain as Green Lantern was.

Coupla things….I think LIG has tremendous replay value, which is something not all Nas albums have (even the top Tier)
Dom Kennedy…never gave dude a shot, but his verse on Grooveline from Schoolboy Q’s album was real nice. Is that typical Dom Kennedy or just a mirage?
I know lots of people agree with me, but still wont say it. Tupac is grossly OVERrated. His ratio of good to horrible songs is too low to be considered a great, IMO. Kinda like a PG with high turnover to assist ratio.

There is this great book called Collapse written by Jared Diamond. He also won the Pulitzer for his work (you might know this one) called Guns, Germs, and Steel. The book focuses around the fall of civilizations of the past that fail to see the signs coming from fucking up there environments too damn much from a plethora of reasons.
