One of the most valuable attributes a rap artist can posses in today’s climate.

  12. Captain Planet Says:

Nas announced the album’s title after a performance on May 18, 2006 [4][5] In a late September interview on English DJ Tim Westwood’s Radio show, Nas said, “Hip-hop is dead because we as artists no longer have the power.” He went on to say, “Could you imagine what 50 Cent could be doing, Nas, Jay, Eminem, if we were the Jimmy Iovines? Could you imagine the power we’d have? I think that’s where we’re headed.”

Reminds me of the Chris Rock piece where he says Shaq is rich, but the nigga signing his checks is wealthy

When Wayne’s Mirrors dropped, was that a way of having both versions of the album on the charts or is it all about them iTunes sales?

Would they rather you buy a physical CD or a digital download?

There’s no way Nas is currently worth $200 million. With that said, you seemed to handle the critiscm from Trouble and them decently. A level mind, persistence and positive attitude can do wonders in this thing called hiphop. I commend the courage of your stance. But the flow was pretty awful. Don’t let me step on your dreams though. Just take the criticsm you receive here as a learning lesson, and imagine how it would be to receive the same response on stage in person. Odds is when your mom leaves the house in the mornings and comes back the next morning and you eating pancake mix with a spoon hoping it sticks to your ribs because you hungry as fuck. You can sit back and laugh at this, or get angry and reply back talking trash “kill yourself this, kill yourself that”, or you can take it all into consideration. Awful accidents and tragedies happen to all people. God does not discriminate in punishment. I do urge you to keep a positive mindset no matter what, and appreciate life whatever way you can.
