Flatbush Zombies – Face Off (L.S.Darko)
I’ve been checking these kids’ shit out lately and they’ve got some joints. That “Thug Waffle” shit didn’t really do anything for me, but “Laker Paper” and “SCOSA” are pretty tough.
On this cut, also a winner, they capitalize on the undeniable fact that we are clearly in the early stages of a Zombie Apocalypse. The cut includes samples of news coverage about the Miami Zombie, with whom they no doubt feel a certain kinship, considering both the name of their group and their shared affinity for LSD.
