Block Beattaz got hear but I’d be way more interested if anyone but Stalley was rocking out over those beats.
I was listening to the tape thinking “Damn, it’d be dope if Ross & Spitta got some Block Beattaz production for their next projects”.
Cause even tho Stalley is a capable rapper, he doesn’t really do some of those joints justice. I don’t understand why he just abandoned the sound he & Rashad came up with. I understand wanting to be progressive but I think that was a bad move.
More mainstream rappers should be copping Block Beattaz tracks and hopefully this tape gets them a few more high profile placements in 2012.

Fraud may be the new Just Blaze.
I know it’s early, but no East Coast producer has shown the creativity range as dude does with his sound. He can do hardcore East Coast boom bap but switch it to some Southern 808 driven shit in a heartbeat.
Those tapes with Bronson & Spitta should be dope but I’m anxious to hear what he gives French for the album.

Dame & PK set a foundation but Swizz took it all the way out there with all OG production and using such different sounds then we were used to at the time. Ruff Ryders Anthem was a risky record & Flesh Of My Flesh, Blood Of My Blood was just as ambitious an effort.
Swizz helped give NY a sound that could compete with the Southern acts, who were bubbling nearly everywhere but New York.
