Yeah D’Antoni never had the pieces to do what he wanted to do…but his way has never been successful outside of the regular season. Dude had to go.
You have to be able to play defense, and it’s not something you can just turn on when you have to…shit doesn’t work that way.
Amare just wasn’t right this year for whatever reason. I’ve read a lot of NBA insiders/analysts talk about how bad he’s been, and worried about if he’s just damaged goods now or if he had a bad year because of the lockout and his brother passing.

The main reason why I could NEVER fuck with his music at all. Like the beat could be banging, nice melody or whatever, but as soon as Mush Mouth Sr. starts slurring all over the track, it’s a wrap. I just don’t see how people can sit through ENTIRE songs, nevermind whole mixtapes of that shit. I guess I wasn’t ingesting the correct dosage of narcotics or something.

In 2012 the rap game aint what it used to be like in the mid to late 90′s and early 2000′s…….Everything is affordable and accessible, people can go to best buy or guitar center and become a rapper/producer/DJ with out having to put in too much effort…..The artists who take the time out to build a solid fan base that will support their music and merchandise out live the influx of aspiring rappers who are better off working entry level jobs….Social media gave EVERYBODY an outlet to be their own superstar…..It’s just up to the individual person to filter out the bullshit they don’t want to associate with…If an artist can branch off from the internet and turn their buzz into actual profit….more power to ‘em! I aint mad at Myspace, FB, or Twitter….it’s just w/ any social media forum you will find people who want to achieve the same type of celebrity fame that their favorite artist has…..Social media is a gift and a curse, becuz I’ve discovered so many new and dope artists becuz of it, but I also have to avoid spammers who just spam links to music I never requested in the first place…..It’s like high school, you gonna always have those kids in the lunch room who wish they were the popular ones, so social media leveled the playing field to where we know the names of great artist like MJ and Whitney as well as “internet sensations” Eli Porter and Antoine Dodson……Like I said you gotta know how to filter out the BS! The net is a great marketing and promotion tool, artist in 2012 have NO CHOICE but to connect via social media…..but…..there’s negatives and positives…..for every internet success story like an Odd Future there is a random MC posting annoying music links in the same types of forums alienating listeners….
