February 10, 2012: MediaTakeOut.com just got wind that Maliah is SINGLE AGAIN. You see rapper Sean Kingston was wining and dining her, flying her around the country, and giving her expensive gifts and money.
But alas it’s over. A good friend of Maliah told MediaTakeOut.com that Maliah BROKE IT OFF with Sean, just before he went overseas on tour.
Tells our snitch, “Maliah broke that [dude]. He gave her money, jewels, and trips worth more than 100 [thousand dollars].”

that’s why I don’t really fuck with Ross or Drake’s music
I know that Rae did a lot of coke rap, but for the most part he did it from a totally different perspective than Rick Ross. It’s more of a story/narrative painting some sort of movie picture. With Ross, he kinda brings it all up in a different way. Like he’s selling it right now, he is making more off coke than rap right now…it’s way more fugazi.
I think Ross’ dominance just highlights the faults in the overall rap game. People are loving him because he makes quality music, most rap fans’ heroes are like 10 to 15 years removed from their prime, and nobody new has come along to just lock everything down in the mainstream.

Mainstream-wise…rap has been wack for over a decade now. People are starving for something.
So even if you’re the most fugazi rapper ever, people will follow you because there aren’t options.
It’s not like back in the day where if you hated Jay-Z, you could just ride to Mobb Deep, Nas, Wu-Tang and Snoop instead.

Let’s be real, about 20% of music listeners are actually passionate about what they listen to, dig around to find new shit or even have some sort of moral ground that they stand on regarding what and who they listen to.
The masses are fickle and zombie-like when it comes to music, even moreso now than ever…so rap is definitely out of control with fakes and phonies.

Wearing track suits and colonial-style wigs, Steve Crowder, a Fox News contributor and comedian, and Chris Loesch, the husband of conservative commentator Dana Loesch, warmed the crowd up with a rap about “Mr. America.” Behind them was their own music video of the song, in which they wore more colonial-style clothing and stood in front of a building that appeared to be some sort of fortress.
The performance sure woke up the crowd, which turned out at 9:30 a.m. to honor the prominent conservative bloggers receiving awards that morning. People were waving their hands in the air like they just didn’t care, and one woman even stood up and shook her hips.
There was one particularly awkward moment in the performance, when they used the word “knickers,” which happens to sound a lot like a racially loaded word beginning with the letter “n.” The music then stopped and they joked, “What? Knickers? I can say knickers!” At that moment, coincidentally, a technician — who happened to be one of the only African-American individuals in the room and was working at the front at the time — stood up and walked away. (Watch in the above video at 1:50.)

only reason more rappers weren’t outed and having their credibility and backgrounds questioned in the 90s and early 2000s was because social media and blogs weren’t as strong as they are today.
you simply didn’t have access to Wu Tang or Mobb Deep’s personal histories, and you didn’t know them as well as you do rappers now in the twitter/social media era.
and the best way to keep your idols your idols, is to never meet them.

Rap sucks because the only new(er) artists breaking any new ground creatively, sonically, musically, etc all look and act like they’ve had dicks waved in their faces. And liked it. And no self respecting grown heterosexual man can honestly be proud of supporting that shit publicly. Like someone said earlier, there used to be quality options if you didn’t like one superstar. Now it’s either roll with the homos or find another genre. Shit’s disgusting, b.

a lie is a lie is a lie though, right?
if a rapper likes about 25% of his raps, or 55% of his raps…really, what’s the difference?
if a bitch cheats on her husband with 3 dudes or 8 dudes…she’s still cheating.

you couldn’t be that fugazi back in those days though. Those were the days of getting booed off stage, having shit thrown at you, riots at shows for wack shit and all that.

To an extent, your right. But you’re also discounting the fact that in the 90′s even the softer rappers HAD to at least roll with a crew of street respected types. The behind the scenes aspect was allot more aggressive than media outlets were willing to report. Fuck, just look at the FBI file that got released on the Wu recently.
