Common is making efforts to end his beef with Drake. Today, the Chicago rapper/actor told Rolling Stone that he is fond of Drake’s music and their fight is over for now:

I think [Drake] makes good music… He’s definitely said some real clever things and made some cool songs… I just felt like somebody stepped and challenged me, so I had to step into the ring. He said some things that I thought were directed at me, so I had to address it back… I feel like I said what I had to say, and I’m just going to let it be at that point… Now, if something else happens, then I’ll just have to act accordingly. The air just got taken out of this whole “beef” after Common’s interview is all I’m sayin. I was waiting for a response from Drake, but now its all meh from this point forward. I was intrigued (II) to see if Drake would step up, but Common said this show is over.
