The fact that Jeezy would break bread for verses from these Niggas says enough. He’s lost.
^
By that logic, Jeezy already lost by his first and second albums (see: Fab and Jada features since TM: 101/02)
Smh. Cats want Jeezy to lose so bad that they can’t even think straight. Now that’s a powerful kind of hate.

I like Jeezy but he lost.

And cosign Jimmy having a handful of almost brilliant moments early on. That ‘Ryder Musik’ Mixtape was chalk full of them. And yeah, ‘On My Way to Church’ was Jimmy’s pinnacle. “Only One Way Up From Here”, I think it was called….. yeah all three of em snapped on that one. And IMO, his verse on Diplomats Mixtape vol. 4′s “Fly Boyz” is his GOAT verse.
December 7th, 2011 at 10:53 pm
Jeezy aint lose he just got lost in the crowd of trap rappers over the past 5 years
the Beats on TM101 were the standouts and now everybody has a 15 yr old making similiar beats in they basement (ie Lex Luger)
December 7th, 2011 at 10:54 pm
I like Jeezy but he lost.

Until this album flops (which will be the first of his career), you’re not going to find much evidence to support this claim.

I like Jeezy but he lost.
==================
^Should’ve shot back at Ross when he had the chance. I could understand him feeling some type of way about BMF, and even refusing to co-sign fake shit by putting Ross on a feature, but then he got shot at, and didn’t fire back.

Lol, Jeezy ain’t lost shit except the half assed support from a few of the most finicky of fans.
December 7th, 2011 at 11:04 pm
Exactly at what point did this “loss” occur? Like which album? Which mixtape? Which interview? Which video?
Better yet, DEFINE lost/loss. I’m pretty sure my definition doesn’t coincide with yall’s.

1.) I don’t remember either one of those cats on Jeezy’s 1st and 2nd albums.
2.) even if they were, a verse from either in 2004, is a WHOLE different animal than a verse from either in 2011. Seven years is a loooooooong time.
December 7th, 2011 at 11:06 pm
These are the same people that’ll try to convince me that Drake won by making a song like Take Care.
Man, wtf is this world coming to?

Going from one of the top rappers in the game, dropping LPs on a 1 every 18 month basis, to not dropping an LP in 3 and a half years. Having your last two mixtapes come and go with zero buzz gathered. Attempting 6 difft singles for your next album, with none of them making an impact.
That’s losing. And there’s no way around it.

December 7th, 2011 at 11:16 pm
Jeezy lost because he chose not to drop an album while remaining a presence on radio & the blogs for 3 years. He also lost because some fat fraudulent fuck took shots at him in a freestyle.
OK.

Jeezy hasn’t loss anything…
Times have changed. The industry and consumers aren’t interested w/trap rap.
December 7th, 2011 at 11:23 pm
lol jeezy lost the same way fifty lost neither one of them got the same production as ross and neither one of them can rap or make songs as good as ross and that is where hip hop is at, a former corrections officer is the best trap rapper in the game

Lose My Mind was getting played everywhere, and TOD2 was getting spins- FACT.
He had NO support from the label on this album, by his own admission.
That being said, he missed Coach K to tell him a good idea (OJ) from a bad one (Jizzle), but to say he was “losing” or “lost” is a joke…
He’s a multi-platinum artist, 3 times out the box. William hasn’t touched a mil yet.
FACT.

Jeezy BEEN an established heavyweight in the game. with all due respect, fuck he need to gather a buzz for.
cats are trying to put Jeezy in that 50 Cent category, when that’s not the case…Jeezy ain’t drop no wack albums yet. until that happens, niggas need to chill.
December 7th, 2011 at 11:31 pm
So what I’m gathering is that his brief absence from the game is equivalent to losing. And he lost by not responding to the Parole Board Music Group during said hiatus. He also lost by leaking a handful of songs to some blogs, as well as releasing a half dozen mixtapes that went e-gold as opposed to e-platinum.
Interesting logic to say the least. I could pick these arguments apart, but it’s late and I don’t feel like doing that much typing on my phone. Lol.
December 7th, 2011 at 11:31 pm
Ross isn’t a better artist than Jeezy.
Ross is just more popular now.
Both artist probably have equal amount of hits to their catalogs.

Cop doesn’t respond to 50 and he’s winning.
Jeezy doesn’t respond to Cop and he’s…… lost.
Like I said, very interesting logic from the Nah collective.

You’re debating imaginary topics. No one said Jeezy was losing cause he didn’t respond to Ross.
He’s losing because the Black chick at my job that bought Resession 3 years ago doesn’t give a fuck about him now. I dont give two flying fucks what caused that, I’m just dealing with current reality.

This is fucking accurate as an arrow. Real Rap.
All of hiphop is losing cause of this. Rappers are made and broken because WOMEN are the key BUYERS. College women IMO.

Smh @ Drake fan logic. In all honesty, I don’t think Jeezy EVER made an attempt to go after the Take Care fanbase. Unless of course, said black coworker is a stripper.

How do you lose by just standing pat?
Nas has lost approximately 18 times then. That nigga disappears in between albums…
