The production is largely monotonous, the album is paced like a dead snail and there’s been no growth whatsoever from TML.

The album starts off kinda light but once it starts gathering momentum, it picks up.
Still not as “hard” as TML. Not that that’s a bad thing.
I don’t hear as many clearly standout cuts but there’s a better sense of cohesion here then on TML so far. I’m on my 3rd spin of Cameras/Good Girls Go, have yet to hear any of the Wayne tracks (I avoided the last couple leaks) or the Stevie feature so I’m reserving final judgement till I hear the rest of the album.

Take Care is less of a spectacle then TML but after 2 listens, I think it’s a quality release.
A lot of little things in the production that I really fuck with too.

Over My Dead Body, Headlines, Buried Alive, Underground Kings, Lord Knows, The Real Her, Look What You’ve Done are all great.
The rest is nothing special…heard it all before.
Lyrically this album is solid. The songs are clever and well written for the most part, but there is way too much directed towards club girls (although I guess that’s his target audience).
Production is very polar. On the one hand you have bangers (lord knows, underground kings), on the other you have alot of boring and generic production (shot for me, doing it wrong).
The harmonica solo from Stevie was an awesome touch tho

He should have just thrown on Club Paradise, I’m On One, Trust Issues, and everything else that dropped this year mixed in between these tracks and made it a 2 disc album on some Blueprint 2 type shit. That would have made this much more of a classic in the long run cause people would forget when those tracks dropped prior to the album release date and just enjoy it in it’s entirety in the future.
