Common kicked something at the Derrick Rose “Run For Rose” event which also celebrated the release of the adidas D. Rose 2′s earlier today at the James R. Jordan Boys & Girls Club in Chicago.

Derrick kicked off the day at the Adidas store in the Water Tower, with hundreds of fans lining up to get their D. Rose 2′s and a picture with the MVP. Derrick later hit the Foot Locker on State Street for more interaction with fans, and was greeted with a line that stretched four blocks.

TMZ reports: On a flight from Ft. Lauderdale to Memphis today, Rick Ross suffered a seizure, the plane was forced to make an emergency landing and paramedics were or are currently performing CPR on him.

UPDATE: Rick Ross’ DJ Sam Sneaker and Wale both confirmed the Boss is O.K.

UPDATE #2: TMZ reported that Rick Ross suffered a second seizure on another flight to Memphis but is now in stable condition.
