   Two carjackers bumped a car from behind, getting its driver to pull over – then pulled out guns, pistolwhipped the driver, and drove away with both vehicles, according to the state police.

   A dark-colored Jeep Liberty bumped the late-model white Mercedes from behind about 4 a.m. on I-280, according to Sgt. Brian Polite. There was little to no damage to either of the cars.

   But when the Mercedes driver got out to share information and check the car, the two males in the Jeep Liberty pulled handguns. One of them pistolwhipped the driver and got the passenger out of the car. A shot was fired at some point, though no one was hit, Polite said.
