I didn’t tell him not to get a gun…that was never my point.
my point was, if you do in fact decide to go to such measures and purchase a gun…you should do so EXPECTING to use it one day.
and killing/maiming another man, well…it ain’t like stepping on ants.
some of you sound better suited for other means of self protection, especially if the gun is just staying in a shoe box underneath your bed.
ADT, a dog, a baseball bat, a pocketknife, mace…things of that nature.
guns are for shooting and killing.
