For foreign medical grads, it’s hard to get nicer/more competitive residencies. If you look at the numbers, the vast majority go into primary care – I don’t think that’s a matter of choice either, it’s just maximizing their chance of matching.
However, for Americans who graduate from foreign schools, it’s even harder. I’ve heard from one residency director who said he pretty much considered that a red flag. I’d rank DO schools as a better option than going abroad, personally. In some countries (India) I could see the cost advantage, but the timing advantages are lost if you’re already in college + most schools are more expensive/risky.

The “Change” campaign was a brilliant slogan, people foolishly believed in Obama. People haven’t gravitated to a politician in a very very long time. So his first term were that wasn’t much “change” rather more double down on Republican policy will hurt him. With the re-election campaign starting hes all of a sudden talking tough and pushing a new jobs bill, he now making campaign speeches, people see through this they won’t fall for it again. He won’t get the same turn out from the young voters. If there was Democrat running agianst him he’d have a serious problem IMO.

I think he’d be happy with a 65/35 split on the dod/military side, you win the military, you more than likely win the election. that revamped g.i bill is an ace in hand, in terms of accomplishments. there are a lot of bills that went through in a lot of those mega package bills that folks don’t know about, funny really.

For foreign medical grads, it’s hard to get nicer/more competitive residencies. If you look at the numbers, the vast majority go into primary care – I don’t think that’s a matter of choice either, it’s just maximizing their chance of matching.
However, for Americans who graduate from foreign schools, it’s even harder. I’ve heard from one residency director who said he pretty much considered that a red flag. I’d rank DO schools as a better option than going abroad, personally. In some countries (India) I could see the cost advantage, but the timing advantages are lost if you’re already in college + most schools are more expensive/risky.

I’ve heard some horror stories from foreign students about finding residency matches if they don’t have prior experience in U.S schools, main reasons I considered a foreign school was the cost/teaching system, and the one I was considering has a lot of alumni that now work in the states (they even have a pathway school in ny, and two more being developed in cali & nevada)

LA Firefighters Investigated for Helping Make Porn
LA City firefighters are under investigation for allegedly taking part in porn movies on the job, Cpt. Jaime Moore of the Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed to NBC4 LA.
This is the second city department this year where employees have been investigated for alleged involvement in porn movies while on duty.
