Video: Beats Per Minute w/ Exile
I’m happy to present the 6th installment of FluD Watches Beats Per Minute producer series with MPC master Exile. This clip features a very ill backyard performance and a brief interview about the musical influences he encountered growing up and how it led him into production.
The Beats Per Minute series is of course in support of FLuD’s ill new line of drum machine inspired “BPM” watches, and I’ve been told that I can hook somebody up with a complementary piece. So the first person to email me @ nah.right.contests [at] gmail.com with the subject line Gimme That BPM will get a watch.
Also, be sure to look out for Exile’s upcoming solo rap album (yep) 4TRK MIND, which was recorded entirely on a 4-track recorder, to drop October 4th on Soul Spazm Records.

THIS
I know too many niggas with talent that just dont understand that it aint gone happen for them. So in turn they chase the dream off and on for more years wasting valuable time they cant get back.
People get too offended when you give them honesty. I dont want to see nobody out here chasing air and I know one day they’ll say I was right…
