Valid point, but you’re kinda shooting yourself in the foot with this one.
In my opinion (correct me if I’m wrong), people don’t buy Lacoste/RL for comfort/fit. There are plenty of clothes at a cheaper price that look better and are more comfy. People tend to purchase RL and Lacoste soley for the Brand name, as association with a brand creates the impression of wealth.
Therefore, the argument that wearing lacoste in 2011 is a fail makes sense…as the brand isn’t currently viewed as what’s ”hot”.
I personally don’t mess with brands, I think it’s weak feminine mentality to purchase clothes in the hope that they will get you respect. The fuck I look like with another man’s name written across my shirt.

The sleeves on polo shirts are too fucking short, making my arms look crazy, and they shorter lengthwise, especially after they get washed a few times. Lacoste jawns are more true to size and like I said, the cotton they use just breathes better and is WAY more comfortable.
